Chef Vance's culinary journey began in her grandmother's kitchen, where she learned the art of creating comforting and flavorful meals from scratch. After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu, she honed her skills at some of the finest restaurants in the country before returning to Chicago to open The Golden Spoon. Her dedication to quality and innovation has earned the restaurant numerous accolades, including "Best New Restaurant" by Chicago Magazine and a five-star rating from the Chicago Tribune.
